StarHub, Keppel confirm talks over possible M1 deal

Discussions are ongoing, and no definitive deal has been reached.

Singaporean firms StarHub and Keppel have confirmed in separate announcements talks over a possible transaction involving M1, though no definitive agreement has been reached.

StarHub said discussions are ongoing, with no certainty or assurance that they will result in a deal.

It added that further announcements will be made should there be any material development requiring disclosure.

Keppel similarly said nothing definitive has been reached at this stage, whilst it continues to explore opportunities for consolidation involving M1.

“In the meantime, the company is focused on strengthening M1’s performance to maximise its strategic value in any future industry consolidation,” Keppel added.
