Meanwhile, over 30% of smartphones and 50% of laptops shipped globally will feature GenAI capabilities.
Women’s adoption of GenAI in the U.S. is expected to match or exceed men’s by 2025, closing the previous gender gap.
Wireless telecom mergers and acquisitions are forecast to accelerate, particularly in Europe, leading to more efficient and resilient networks.
As streaming fatigue peaks, Deloitte said the market will shift toward aggregated platforms that offer bundled content, reminiscent of traditional pay-TV models.
Technology companies are also seen to invest in energy-efficient chips, innovative cooling solutions, and renewable energy to mitigate the energy impact of GenAI.
