Darren is the Asia Pacific Head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications located in Singapore. He is also the Asia Pacific Head of Clients & Markets Development and is part of the ASPAC Leadership team.
A highly accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in Telecom and Information Technology, Darren is passionate about bringing emerging technology solutions to clients, to enable their digital transformation journey. Darren has led key technology engagements in KPMG which cover Strategy, Data Migration, Cloud, Blockchain, and use case builds. Working with C-suite clients across Telecom, Technology, Banking, Insurance, Life Sciences, Energy and Resource, Consumer, he advises businesses on Strategy, Transformation, Cyber Security, Data and Analytics, and Cloud.
Prior to joining KPMG, Darren worked in the industry where he held key positions in companies such as Orange Business Services, Verizon Business, Sprint International, Lucent Worldwide Services, Siemens, and Nortel.


Michinori Sato

Michinori has 20+ years consulting experience to support major telecom, media, and electronics clients in the Strategy & Operation, Technology, and Human Capital areas. Michinori is based in Japan and leading Deloitte's Asia Pacific Telecom, Media, and Entertainment(TM&E) Sector, TM&E consulting practice and 5G specialist team in Japan.
He has deep expertise in the telecommunications business, including new business development(B2C/B2B), B2B Sales & marketing, Branding of services, Customer experience, DX strategy, Finance operation, HR system & Talent and Corporate organizational design.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Michinori worked for other consulting firms in the TMT space. Recently, he also serves as a board member of Deloitte’s subsidiary company in cloud engineering.

Joongshik serves a wide variety of clients within the technologies, digital media, and telecom industries. His experience for corporate clients spans across corporate strategy, M&A, portfolio optimization, innovation and digital customer experience. He is well-known as a trusted commercial tech advisor to private equity firms and large corporates through his strategy and M&A engagements with emerging Southeast Asian e-commerce, sharing economy and technology unicorn clients.
Joongshik holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master’s in Economics and Applied Statistics from Yonsei University, South Korea.

Wilson heads PwC’s global technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry practice. He is also the TMT industry leader for the firm’s Mainland China and Hong Kong practice. Wilson is based in PwC China’s Shenzhen office.
Emerging technologies and digital deployment are redefining all industries and businesses. They also lead to rapid growth and developments of companies in the TMT industry. Wilson has been leading and supporting the PwC global network across all lines of service - Assurance, Taxation and Advisory - to provide one-stop professional solutions and services to companies in the TMT industry, as well as to clients looking for reinventing themselves through digital transformations.
Wilson has been working in the public accounting practice in Mainland China and Hong Kong for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience in providing assurance and advisory services to companies in the TMT industry, ranging from start-ups to global tech giants, for capital market transactions, assurance engagements, systems and controls advisory, and deals.
He is a practising member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Accountants, China Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Wilson is also an adviser to the Internet Advertising Board of Hong Kong.

Nomination is open to telecom companies from all industries in Asia and the Middle East region.

The entries will be deliberated by a panel of telecom industry experts from the region’s top accounting firms based on the judging criteria.

ELIGIBILITY
The awards programme is on the lookout for outstanding initiatives of telecom companies in Asia and Middle East region, such as projects, products, services, strategies, campaigns, or case studies that were either:
• launched, in part or full, over the last 24 calendar months
• launched prior to 24 calendar months and had any recent improvements or upgrades

How do I nominate?
1. Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.
2. Fill in the required details about the company and contact person for the nomination.
3. Select your category.
4. Provide your project title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and photos of the project that you are nominating.
5. Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.
Notes:
- Companies may submit up to a maximum of 3 categories and submit up to a maximum of 2 entries for each category.
- Each nomination form is valid for one entry only. Fill out the form again if you will nominate another project or in another category.
- Photos are required while supporting documents are optional but will highly increase the chances of winning.

How many winners per category?
- There will only be one winner per industry category on each country ie. "Mobile Telecom Company of the Year - Singapore", "Mobile Telecom Company of the Year - Hong Kong", etc.
- There will only be one winner of CEO of the Year award as this is a regional award.
Can I nominate for more than 1 category?
Yes, each company can nominate for a maximum of 3 categories.
Can I send two or more entries for one category?
Yes, you can nominate for a maximum of two entries for a category. If you are nominating several projects, please enter each entry separately.
Will there be an awards dinner this year?
Yes, winners are invited to attend the prestigious awards dinner and presentation in Singapore not only to celebrate their well-deserved award but also to network with clients, industry peers, colleagues, and co-winners from companies across industries.
What can I nominate?
You can nominate outstanding initiatives such as projects, products, services, strategies, campaigns, or best practices that were either:
