India telecom taps cloud platform for service improvements
The telecom network offers AI-powered in-home services with JioFiber and JioAirFiber.
Reliance subsidiary Jio Infocomm Limited has struck a partnership with network services provider Plume to support its smart home and small business services to Indian subscribers with the use of Plume’s highly scalable cloud platform.
Through the collaboration, Jio will release HomePass and WorkPass consumer services, enhanced by Plume’s AI-generated and cloud-based platform for an estimated 200 million premises in India. Components include household adaptive Wi-Fi, connected device and performance optimization, cyber threat protection, advanced parental controls, and Wi-Fi motion sensing.
With access to Plume’s Haystack Support and Operations Suite, Jio enhances its customer support and operation services to recognise, analyse, and process faster on performance-related cases, network faults and other customer concerns.
