Metfone honoured as Telecom Company of the Year - Cambodia

Viettel Cambodia (Metfone) has been honoured as the Telecom Company of the Year - Cambodia at the Asian Telecom Awards 2025.
This prestigious award highlights Metfone’s relentless efforts in expanding telecommunications infrastructure and improving service quality for Cambodian citizens.
Metfone is not only a leader in network infrastructure and digital services but also a pioneer in adopting advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), significantly contributing to Cambodia's digital transformation journey and sustainable development.
Throughout over 16 years of operation in Cambodia, Metfone has become a crucial factor in promoting socio-economic growth. To date, the company has contributed more than US$1b to the Royal Government of Cambodia’s budget and created thousands of local job opportunities. Additionally, Metfone strongly emphasises its corporate social responsibility, investing more than US$120m in various CSR initiatives, including providing free internet services to schools and hospitals, supporting education and remote healthcare, building smart cities, and environmental protection programmes.
