Comarch receives major accolades at Asian Telecom Awards 2024
It has collaborated with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions to deliver a 5G SA-based network.
Global software house Comarch clinched two wins at the recently held Asian Telecom Awards 2024 for its deployment of an AI-based Forecast Generator and its collaborative effort to deliver a virtualised, resilient network based on 5G SA technology.
Comarch’s Forecast Generator is a powerful and versatile cloud-native stateless function for data analysis with fully automated generation of baselines and predictions. Its strength comes from the data modelling function based on deep learning to enable handling of various data patterns and exceptions.
It is capable of forecasting data, detecting anomalies, capturing day/night patterns and weekly seasonality, reporting unexpected trend changes, amongst others. It can be used for network and service performance degradation detection, traffic and utilisation engineering, and capacity management and future bottleneck identification.
The solution has been developed over the last 12 months together with the customer, and includes many useful features for operation and optimisation engineers to enhance their ability for network monitoring and engineering, and anticipate future data trends in telecommunications networks with every increase in data volumes.
“It is a cornerstone for future enhancements of network and service operations towards autonomous systems, predictive maintenance and dark NOC,” the company said.
Meanwhile, Comarch’s IT experts have joined forces with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation in delivering the 5G SA-based network for KDDI.
The former provided a comprehensive OSS system for management of all aspects of KDDI’s 5G SA core equipment, with functionalities including full control over network elements, covering planning, monitoring and service assurance.
