It’s all in the DITO App: DITO Telecommunity wins two major awards in Asian Telecom Awards 2024
DITO Telecommunity highlights a fully digital app experience with DITO App, providing a user-friendly interface, seamless navigation, and innovative features.
Committed to making meaningful strides in the realm of digital transformation, DITO Telecommunity, the fastest-growing telecommunications provider in the Philippines, bagged the Philippines’ Digital Initiative of the Year and the Philippines’ Mobile App of the Year in the recently concluded Asian Telecom Awards 2024.
Positioned as DITO subscribers’ all-in-one app with innovative features, the DITO App stands out for its user-friendly interface, seamless navigation, and an array of features that enhance subscribers’ convenience and satisfaction, covering end-to-end journeys. It allows customers to manage their accounts anytime, anywhere and access exclusive offers, rewards, and online chat support.

The DITO App exhibited its convenience even more during the Philippine government’s nationwide implementation of the Republic Act 11934 or SIM Registration Act (SRA). Following the implementing rules and regulations of SRA, the DITO APP became a convenient and safe avenue for subscribers to easily register their SIM cards, giving them greater protection against SIM card-related criminal activities such as online scams, personalised text scams, smishing, fraud cases, fake news, and identity theft.
Meanwhile, in June 2023, DITO also launched its ground-breaking mobile postpaid plans through the DITO App.
Part of its unique selling proposition is allowing customers to experience a fully digital end-to-end experience for all applications. Customers can easily apply for a postpaid plan online through the DITO App and get it delivered straight to their addresses so they can skip the traditional lines for postpaid plan applications.
