Metfone was honored at the 2024 Asian Telecom Awards
On February 29, at the 2024 Asia Telecom Awards ceremony held at the Marina Bay Sands Conference and Exhibition Center in Singapore, Metfone was honoured with the Telecom Company of the Year award.
The Asian Telecom Awards recognises notable achievements and innovations of telecommunications companies in the Asia Pacific region. Regarded as the "Oscars of the Asian Telecommunications industry," the awards have been held annually since 2003 by Asian Mobile News, a reputable organisation specializing in analysis, evaluation, and voting in Asia.
2024 marks the 22nd year of the Asian Telecom Awards, bringing together leading telecommunications companies in Asia. Metfone was privileged to be recognised at the awards ceremony for its outstanding achievements, innovative initiatives, and significant contributions to sustainable customer value and overall company development in 2023.
A representative from Metfone stated that to receive this prestigious award, Metfone had to meet several criteria set by the organisers, including transparency, the effectiveness of business activities, research and development efforts, innovation, and quality standards following international guidelines.
"Receiving this award reflects recognition of Metfone's business efforts and serves as motivation for the entire Metfone team to strive even harder," the representative added.
Recently, Metfone celebrated its 15th anniversary, marking a special milestone in its journey of building and developing in Cambodia. From a fledgling company with tentative first steps, Metfone has now become a telecommunications industry valued at over $1b. Metfone has become a bridge for other Vietnamese businesses to participate in effective cooperation and investment processes in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Moreover, Metfone's employees are united, working together steadfastly to contribute to the country's prosperity and the happiness of the Cambodian people.
