Asia Tech x Singapore 2024 eyes over 22,000 attendees
Fourth instalment tailors events to key tech trends and industry needs.
The fourth edition of Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG), Asia's flagship technology event, is set to spotlight major trends like artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and blockchain from May 29 to 31.
Elle Quan, Head of Conferences at ATxSG, outlined the event's focus and its strategic importance in today's rapidly advancing technological landscape.
"AI is something that our audience would like to hear about. They'd like to learn how to build, adapt, and scale AI," said Quan. The event will introduce an inaugural developer experience summit featuring experts discussing how to strengthen and build digital infrastructure, underscoring the event's commitment to cutting-edge technological education.
ATxSG will showcase AI applications across various sectors with dedicated tracks at BroadcastAsia and CommunicAsia, highlighting use in the broadcasting and telecommunications industries. Additionally, the AI Summit at Singapore will focus specifically on scaling AI technologies.
"Cybersecurity is another hot topic as we serve the increasing digitalization of businesses," Quan noted. The need to protect infrastructure and data from breaches has become more pronounced, driving the agenda at ATxSG to include robust discussions on safeguarding business operations.
Blockchain technology will also receive significant attention. "We have a track on FinTech and blockchain," Quan explained, emphasising the potential impacts of blockchain on business efficiency, transparency, and security.
"ATxSG is a convergence of global leaders and innovators," she stated. The platform aims to redefine connections and collaboration among over 22,000 attendees, positioning Singapore as a leading hub for digital innovation and the Asia Pacific region as an innovation powerhouse.
Addressing industry challenges is a key component of the event. "It's a challenge to keep abreast of the top trends," Quan admitted. The conference will feature thought leaders and business experts who will share insights into the latest developments and strategies for integrating emerging technologies into existing operations.
"This is the place to meet clients, potential collaborators, even investors," Quan remarked, highlighting the social events like happy hours, tech tours, and the first-ever ATxSG party as key networking platforms.
ATxSG is jointly organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Informa Tech, with support from the Singapore Tourism Board. The event features two main segments: ATxSummit and ATxEnterprise.
