MyRepublic Indonesia recognised for deployment speed and broadband leadership at Asian Telecom Awards 2026
The company accelerated nationwide fibre deployment through streamlined planning and digital rollout tools.
MyRepublic Indonesia received accolades in the Fast-Track Deployment of the Year - Indonesia and Broadband Telecom Company of the Year - Indonesia categories at the Asian Telecom Awards 2026. The awards acknowledged sustained delivery performance across infrastructure build, service availability, and market expansion within Indonesia’s broadband sector.
Operational improvements formed the basis of the company’s deployment performance during the year. Network rollout activities were reorganised through the integration of digital planning and approval systems that replaced fragmented, manual processes. Contribution approvals, material verification, and rollout documentation were consolidated into a single workflow, allowing clearer visibility across regional deployment activities and reducing processing delays.
Deployment velocity remained consistently high throughout the year. Monthly homepass expansion peaking at approximately 400,000 contributing to the addition of over four million new homepasses by year-end. This pace of rollout supported coverage growth in both established urban markets and emerging areas, whilst allowing tighter oversight of vendor execution and build standards.
Infrastructure expansion was matched with targeted network planning. Geographic data and utilisation insights were applied to prioritise rollout locations with stronger demand potential, supporting more efficient use of resources. As a result, total homepasses exceeded 10 million, and service availability expanded to more than 162 cities and regencies nationwide.
Rapid growth introduced operational pressures related to traffic volume and service stability. Network monitoring capabilities were strengthened, and backbone capacity upgrades were implemented to manage increased usage levels. These measures supported consistent service performance as the subscriber base grew beyond one million users, even as network scale increased across diverse geographic conditions.
Flexibility remained a core feature of the deployment framework. Real-time rollout data enabled adjustments to build sequencing, vendor allocation, and regional priorities as conditions changed. Infrastructure design also accounted for future service requirements, supporting continued expansion across residential, enterprise, and emerging connectivity use cases.
