Converge ICT Solutions caps off 2022 with connectivity breakthroughs

The introduction of its tailor-fit connectivity products hugely contributed to its success the past year.

Despite the uncertain economic environment in the Philippines, fiber internet service provider Converge ICT Solutions continues to be the Philippines’ choice of network as it ended its 2022 with a slew of major connectivity breakthroughs, partnerships, and awards.

This comes amidst the company’s aggressive efforts to invest and expand its fiber footprint in more areas of the country. The company also actively helps the country move forward in its digital revolution through the investment and participation in the SEA-H2X Submarine Cable System and the trans-pacific Bifrost Cable System.

Both cable systems are expected to significantly increase connectivity capacity, provide consumers and businesses with network diversity in the coming years, and boost Filipinos’ access to international internet exchanges.

At the same time, Converge’s introduction of tailor-fit connectivity products such as GameChanger for gaming enthusiasts, XCLSV for elite high-bandwidth users, and HomeBase for microbusinesses has been a big factor in the company’s success in the past year.

To further cap an impressive year that saw the partnership of the company with industry giants such as Unionbank, Wilcon Depot, and National Book Store, Converge was chosen by the country’s Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide free, fast, and reliable internet services in the departure and arrival areas of selected airports in the country.

The company was also chosen by the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation to provide secure and high-speed connectivity to Clark International Airport, the Philippines’ first contactless airport, prior to the partnership with DOTr.

With its holistic approach to providing the best connectivity solutions to every Filipino, Converge has been recognised as the top-rated fixed network in the Philippines by Ookla, a global leader in mobile and broadband network intelligence, testing applications, and related technologies.

Converge is on track with its quest to bolster its reach to all corners of the Philippines and provide affordable high-speed broadband internet to unserved and underserved Filipinos, having over 614,000 kilometers of pure fiber assets and 53% nationwide household coverage.

The company’s achievements have been recognised by the Asian Telecom Awards, as the company brings home the Broadband Telecom Company of the Year - Philippines award.

The prestigious awards programme recognises the remarkable achievements and initiatives of Asia’s leading telecom companies, as well as those who stood out and were able to navigate their way through various market challenges whilst providing relevant and award-winning products and services to their clients.
