SPTel received recognition at the Asian Telecom Awards 2026 for AI Initiative of the Year - Singapore and Telecom Solutions Provider of the Year - Singapore, reflecting its work in artificial intelligence powered cybersecurity and Quantum-Safe Networking at a national level. The awards recognised initiatives that demonstrated measurable contributions to enhance cyber readiness of organisations in Singapore for the threats of today and tomorrow.
The AI Initiative of the Year - Singapore award recognises SPTel’s development of PatchSense AI, a dashboard that tracks software and network equipment firmware versions and provides AI powered alerts on detected vulnerabilities. With AI technology automating threat monitoring, organisations can react and patch vulnerabilities before they result in a breach. The initiative focused on reducing the manual effort involved in tracking cyber threats, accelerating responses to newly disclosed vulnerabilities, and improving visibility. Automated ingestion of threat intelligence and system-level risk scoring allowed security teams to focus on issues assessed as having higher operational impact, improving response coordination across the organisation.
This service aims to enable organisations with limited in-house cybersecurity resources. It reduces manual tracking and enhances decision-making by classifying threats using a pre-defined risk matrix. This ensures alignment with risk policies and a clear framework to prioritise threat response for more efficient resource allocation. Remediation recommendations are also provided via the dashboard for improved efficiency. For organisations with lean manpower, SPTel also offers Life Cycle Management (LCM) services to patch vulnerabilities for customers. With the PatchSense AI platform hosted on SPTel’s edge cloud infrastructure, customers gain the added benefit of low-latency performance for the dashboard and data sovereignty within Singapore’s shores.
Recognition as Telecom Solutions Provider of the Year - Singapore, meanwhile, reflects the company’s broader role in enabling cutting-edge connectivity and cyber readiness at the national level with a Quantum-Safe Network.
